Is this wyvern enough?
It could also be a huge magically floating snake beast if you don’t want limbs. Though maybe magic isn’t the right word. Maybe it has a float bladder like an eel or other fish filled with gasses that let’s it float.
I’ll probably still have it have limbs, like a regular wyvern. I sort of just gave up with the rest of the body cause I wasn’t sure what it should look like, and because it would’ve been mostly covered by the wings. :T
So I’m gonna try a different pose that doesn’t hide as much, hahah.
Personally I thought it looked more like a naga with a snake instead of human head. Also I am incredibly disappointed that you don’t know the difference between dragons and wyverns.
Well I’m not used to the term wyvern being used that much. :T
And it doesn’t help that a lot of wyverns I’ve seen lately are simply called dragons. Like the dragons in Skyrim are technically wyverns, but they’re always referred to as dragons. And then I saw Desolation of Smaug recently and everyone in that movie calls Smaug a dragon, except I’m sure he’d be more accurately described as a wyvern.
But now I know for sure!
DEFINITELY a dragon. Or a wyvern.
And what is difference?
I just looked it up (or tried to), and from I’m getting (somewhat) is that dragons have a set of wings and a set of arms, and wyverns have their arms as wings.
Tried adding to that sketch I made a few nights ago. And turned it into somewhat of a painting/drawing than a simple sketch.
Still not entirely sure what it is. Maybe dragon? Or snake? I probably should try putting some kind of body on it.
I think lately I’ve been feeling…sad? Maybe? Sad, that I haven’t done any like “big” art projects since the start of 2014. And the problem is I can’t think of anything to draw that I want to put a lot of time and effort into, and try to experiment on something new or improve my current style. I really want to do something big, though.
